The Gulf Inter-Coastal Water Way is quite a bit different from what I expected. I have spent a lot of time on the Atlantic side, but this is completely different.
The north part of the GIWW consists of large bays (more like lakes) connected by man-made waterways and it is largely unpopulated.
I knew this was called the nature coast, but it is much more beautiful and un-crowded than I expected.
We anchored again that night, this time with 3 other small boats that weren’t occupied and appear to be permanently anchored there.
