Another very rural and beautiful setting. After two long days we were all pretty tired so we had a drink on the dock and then went our separate ways to make dinner. We decided to stay there two nights and rest up.
The next day a nice woman named Nancy lent us her car so we were able to go to town and do laundry and buy some groceries. She and her husband stopped by later and had drinks with us on the dock. Then we journeyed to the famous Dog Town Tavern circa 1800 for a bite. Again, Nancy let us borrow her car. She seemed perfectly sane. I hate to admit it, but people do seem to get friendlier as you go further south.
