There are no marinas to stop at between Louisville and Cannelton so we made a run for it. This was a very long day of traveling (12 hours) and it meant getting in after dark, a prospect that did not thrill us (especially with our new paranoia about the lack of depth) in the least. This photo was of Louisville was taken in the morning from the lock.
However, it did give me a great opportunity to practice taking sunset photos. The marina was tiny and extremely rural but well lit. We docked without incident and had dinner at the tiny rural and well lit restaurant.
